JR Nelson has been someone slowly but surely creeping onto our radar. The Brooklyn talent works this one right into the comfort zone area known as future R&B. He takes an up tempto original and really strips it down to it’s core in this silky smooth remix. Don’t skip out on this one, it’s a keeper.

We apologize dearly for the recent absence in blog posts, as you all may know – KFT is a site ran solely by just a few writers so we tend to get caught up in that whole “real life” thing every once in a while. The one I’m sharing today is a remix sent to me a while back that I meant to get on the site sooner – it’s a really ambient and beautiful take on Jarryd James that struck a real WOW chord with me on first listen.

Manila Killa has graced our presence time and time again with remixes from his solo project, along with his duo, Hotel Garuda. While the last few years have helped evolve and develop his sound, 2016 is sure to be the year the LA product breaks out. Don’t believe me? Just listen below at his debut original with Joni Fatora. It’s a matured, ambient sound you won’t be able to deny!

Since hearing Vanic’s remix of “Be Together” I thought no one could make me feel again. But then Paxel comes around and reshapes Wild Belle’s gorgeous vocals into an ambient, instrumental track with a subtle snare-clap trap rhythm. This is the first I’ve heard from the Frenchman but I wouldn’t be opposed to more of this kinda stuff coming through my speakers.
