Chet Porter Guestmix for Big Beat Records May Just Be the Start of Things to Come

The NatDodge HOTMES Mix Guest Series showcases a very promising and talented musician this week, Chet Porter. With his delicate and intrusive production style, this mix is surely a unique and soothing way to enjoy the weekend.

Chet also announced through Big Beat Records that his debut original, “Awakening” is out next Friday. I’ve personally heard it and must say – it’s a winner. Stay tuned and for now, listen to the mix and enjoy your Saturday!

If you like what you hear, be sure to check out Chet Porter alongside Manila Killa and AObeats at the Knitting Factory in Brooklyn, on Dec. 19th.

Download: Win & Woo – The Untitled Five (Tape 2)

Closed Sessions Bonus: Q&A w/ Prince Fox

Talk about getting over the Monday blues… two awesome mixes for different times of the day. While Win & Woo unveil part 2 of their 5 part mix series, with chill and rythmic tunes, Prince Fox unleashes a future “hip-pop” half hour of jams. Both of these are must-listens, from the very start to finish.. don’t skip a beat!

Two Friends Release 8th Installment of ‘Big Bootie Mix’

Mashups/edits (whatever the cool kids are calling them these days) are a fine art. Forever under appreciated, and undoubtably difficult to pull off. Two Friends have managed to develop a mix series that always delivers on perfecting the art of mixing tracks new and old, vocals classic and viral, melodies of yesterday and today. Enjoy Big Bootie Mix #8 below!

Lost Kings Destroy This iEDM Radio Guest Mix

Just as I was slowly drowning in the endless forearm muscle and artery diagrams, this little treat popped up on Soundcloud and suddenly recurrent radial arteries didn’t seems so bad!!! The homies Rob & Nick saddle up for this wicked hour long mix teeming with brilliant song choice. Expect tracks from Don Diablo, Rudimental, Mako, Mike Mago, as well as the delivery of perhaps my favorite Kings remix to date (‘Dreams’ by Life of Dillon). No doubt my blood is flowing now.

Spinnin’ Records Releases ‘After Summer Mix 2015’

I regret to inform you that it’s about that time….summertime sadness. Luckily Spinnin’ Record has a little remedy whipped up called “After Summer Mix.” It’s overflowing with the latest and greatest tunes off their label; and trust me, there’s a lot of them…1.5 hours to be exact. Turn that frown upside down, Matisse & Sadko, The Him, Tiesto, Don Diablo, Sam Feldt, and Oliver Heldens are about to give you much to be happy about.

Sam Feldt – Universum (Mixtape)

One of my top 3 artists of 2015 shows us exactly why he’s rightfully earning a spot at the forefront of dance music with his latest mixtape Universum. His ear for beautifully constructed music from the simplicities of bpms to the acknowledgment of vocal nuances allow Mr. Feldt to sew together an hour of consistently chilling emotions. Joining up-and-comers with blogosphere usuals, Sam fosters an atmosphere of unity and comfortability that releases you from daily responsibilities and instead transports you to a parallel dimension of mental clarity. This might just be my favorite installment yet!
