SNAKEHIPS X TINASHE X CHANCE THE RAPPER – ALL MY FRIENDS

http://www.kboing.com.br/snakehips/1-13002127/

Chance and Tinashe team up over some Snakehips production for their second collaboration, “All My Friends.” The song has a really interesting sound, and we’re not mad at it. It actually feels like a collaborative effort. As opposed to emailing a verse or hook in from the otherside of the country, this crew seems to have actually sat down and curated this sound together. It’s definitely in heavy rotation over here at KFT. Have a listen above and let us know what you think!

OLWIK Covers Avicii’s “Waiting For Love”

Avicii’s “Waiting for Love” is undoubtably a terrific record. It’s got the meaningful vocal and the optimistic fun production to go along with it. But as many like to say, there’s more than one way to skin a cat. OLWIK loved the lyrics and wanted to cover it himself, certainly testing his limits and demonstrating versatility in the process. The vocal is an eerie and smoother take on the original. Leaving the country-folk feel behind, the Swedish talent gives it a guitar driven melody that is just contagious. While the original is great for a party, this one really makes you think about the message behind the song.

Owl City ft. Aloe Blacc – The Verge (Halogen Remix)

Owl City + Aloe Blacc? That’s news to me…but thanks to Halogen, it’s now on my radar finally. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t used to LOVE Owl City in all their “Hello Seattle” and “Vanilla Twilight” glory, so seeing this remix really got me curious. Halogen has been on a tear in the studio the past 5 months and have made all kinds of ripples in the blog wave pool. This latest escapade is a pop-infused, deep-ish, yet still progressive little tune. As indecisive as they are with genres, they’re quite decisive with high-quality music. Enjoy!

Melanie Martinez – Pity Party (Myles Travitz Remix)

Press-2

Myles Travitz has graced our eardrums many times before, with memorable remixes of machineheart, Phoebe Ryan, and Gallant to name a few. However, this time around Myles’ unique sound is entering the forefront with his first ever official label release, a remix of Melanie Martinez’s “Pity Party.”

This track could only be best defined as a pure genre defying production that explores personal uncharted creative territory. Myles branches out of his shell to produce one of his most mature works to date, while still maintaining the core essence of Melanie’s original that made it such a an enjoyable listen off her Crybaby LP. The remix is accompanied by 4 other renditions, culminating in the official remix EP via Atlantic Records. Show some love below by voting on HypeM, and grab your download!

FLETCHER – War Paint (Young Bombs Remix)

NEW YOUNG BOMBS. Boy do I hate caps when they’re not used appropriately – but this was necessary. The duo continues to impress with their catchy melodies and hooks that make each and every one of their productions contagious. Don’t miss this one, it’s up there with some of our favorite YB productions…. war. paint. on.

SELENA GOMEZ – GOOD FOR YOU (FEAT. A$AP ROCKY)

Selena Gomez is no longer the little girl from the Disney Channel. Don’t believe us? Check out this new track with A$AP Rocky. Gomez has taken on a completely new image, as most child stars eventually do (see: Miley Cyrus). She laces the cloudy instrumental with a seductive, yet angelic voice. One might compare Selena’s performance on this track to a female version of The Weeknd. Rocky comes in and gets jiggy, as he normally does. We were skeptical of this collaboration when we first heard news of it a few days back. However, we’re pleasantly surprised with how this came out and will definitely be keeping it in our rotation. Do you agree? Stream “Good For You” below and leave a comment letting us know what you think!
