Flume – Holdin On (Win & Woo Remix)

For those of you not familiar with Win & Woo, we first introduced this new duo at the end of January after they remixed One Republic’s, “If I Lose Myself.” I urge you to go back to that post to get an idea of what exactly makes this duo far more unique than most. Anyways, thrilled to announce their latest release, a remix of indie electro jam, “Holdin On” by Flume. It’s a laid back remix built for summer vibing, note the signature organic sounds and guitar usage. This will be a familiar sound to come from Win & Woo who love to go about EDM in a more innovative way than most. Love this, can’t wait to feast my ears on their next track!

Golden Features EP

Golden Features has surprised quite a few by dropping a surprise 4 track EP, and it’s stellar. The first track off this self-titled EP, “Tell Me,” is a deep electronic house mix that features nicely paired vocals. Next, “Factory,” is a bass driven electro track that will send it’s listeners on a journey. “Guillotine,” takes its roots from old style house, finished off with “Maybe We are Different,” bringing this debut EP to a fitting conclusion. This EP is prime for relaxing, or throwing something on while studying. Keep tabs on the Aussie as he could be on the rise very soon.

Lane 8 – The One EP

Lane 8 just released his newest EP, The One EP, on the famous trance/deep house sub-label Anjunadeep. Leading off with the title track “The One,” Lane 8 layers Patrick Baker’s somber vocals questioning “could you be the one?” with synths teetering the line between smooth and gritty. Next–and my personal favorite–comes “Nothing You Can Say,” with the pristine vocals of Lucy Stone contrasting perfectly with those in the track previous. Lastly we have a remix of “The One” put forth by Klangkarussell, an effort that recoats the original with heavier vocal processing and bass for a darker finish.

This EP is a great step for Lane 8, whose hit “Be Mine” really put him on the map. Stream previews below, support him over on Beatport, and enjoy!
